Does Pilates help to deal with some long-standing back and hip complaints? My osteopath recommended that I do Pilates. So I am keen to explore a trial session if possible. I would like an instructor who is best suited to deal with helping someone with chronic back and hip pain.
Pilates is an exercise that focus on proper alignment, centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing, and flowing movement. It emphasize on re-balancing muscles around the joints, and correcting over-training and muscle imbalance that can lead to injury.
